Wayne and Lisa’s purple and pink classic wedding is a stellar example a gorgeous wedding. From the bride’s soft pink heels to the romantic flower petal covered ceremony aisle.
So many swoon worthy details to steal from, you must see them full gallery here. All fabulously captured by Brittney Kreider Photography.

Mini Destination Wedding

From the Bride: We wanted a place that was an “almost destination” wedding, where most of the guests could drive to but still stay for the weekend if they wanted. Since I am from the Poconos and Wayne is from Baltimore, we settled on historic and scenic Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and we fell in love with Riverdale Manor.

Wedding Inspiration

We used fall-inspired jewel tones of purples, pinks, and reds with hints of gold to pop against the ivory linens and incorporated touches of lace, doilies, wood, and owls throughout the day. Once the florist added her finishing touches of the overflowing greenery, bold colors, and succulents everywhere, my vision of a romantic woodland-inspired wedding came to life.

Advice well taken

I read the advice/regrets from other brides (for example: make room in your budget for a videographer; leave at least 10-15% wiggle room in your budget for unexpected charges; trust your vendors–you hired them for a reason!) and, luckily, I have no regrets of my own.

a great idea. I hate food waste. It makes me cringe when I have to throw something away. Can’t wait to try this
Okay so don’t be scared by the title of this post.
These muffins are actually delicious, nutritious and won’t make you feel bad about wasting all those veggies when you juice!  I wrote a detailed post at the beginning of the year on why I love juicing so much, and YES I still do!  Juicing has become a part of my morning routine and when I need a bit of a detox, I’ll go ahead and juice for a few days along with some added protein and salads.  It just makes me feel SO much better!  Well one of the main questions I had (as well as most of you) was what can you do with ALL that colorful pulp you have leftover from all your yummy fruits and veggies??  There is so much amazing fiber left over that it’s just so sad to throw out and I just cringe at the thought of wasting such healthy, clean produce!  Sooo I did a little research as well as some trial and error (that’s the FUN part!) and found a great recipe using all this pulp in the form of MUFFINS!
Seriously folks, who doesn’t love a good breakfast muffin?  Or dessert muffin?  Or even a post-workout muffin??  Yes as you can see muffins are great ANY time and since they are packed full of fiber, they’re also deliciously healthy for you too.  Luckily for you, if you already have your pulp ready, making the muffins is the easy part!

Any combination of fruits and veggies will work for these muffins and experimenting can be fun too!  For this specific recipe I just used one of my favorite morning juices which consists of kale, carrots, green apples and ginger.  Carrots are great for these muffins because they produce a lot of pulp and are so good for you!  These muffins have a great flavor without being overly sweet, so if you do prefer SWEET muffins feel free to be generous with your honey or other sweetener.
Another idea would be to throw in some protein powder if you’re looking for a great post-workout snack!

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 banana, mashed
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  3. Mix until just combined and add more almond milk if too thick.
  4. Add batter to lightly sprayed muffin tins and sprinkle with rolled oats. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Muffins will be done when a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Enjoy!

Hope you enjoy these as much as we did!  At least you won’t feel guilty the next time you juice!

Bianco's AW styles has hit the stores, and lucky me got to choose a pair from the new collection. I have many pairs of heels that I can walk in for a few hours without a problem, but I wanted a perfect pair of heels for everyday wear that I can actually use all day, without making my feet hurt. The heel of this boot is actually a whoppin' 10cm, but because the heel is so chuncky and the shoe is so comfortable on my foot, it feels like I'm wearing flats! I love the combination of textures on the boots, and the gold detail in the front makes them extra unique. I'll wear them for dressed up occasions with tights and skirts, but also with jeans and a simple knit. They can be worn with pretty much anything. Check out all the new AW styles from Bianco here

so simple so chic, after Etro, in the rain …
I ordered this leather, tan jacket during the NSale this summer (yet it is cheaper now!) & was so excited to finally have the right temp to wear it over the weekend. It is definitely a staple piece for my closet... not only will it be great over dresses & with skirts, but it works with a simple look like this as well. I've found that having a good white v-necks is essential lately..  I've been wearing this one at least 2-3x per week! I guess that is what happens with cardigan weather. :)

I hope you all had a great weekend. Thank you for reading..xo.

Good morning sunshines♥ This Sunday I have my workload cut out for me, so I got up early to get a good start. Tomorrow I'm headed to Oslo again, and when I come home on Tuesday I have to go straight to school until the evening. Studying needs to get done to make up for all the fun earlier this week, and of course for tomorrow. And not to mention, blogposts need to be prepared as I'll have no time at the computer. Tomorrow will be so much fun by the way! Nelly is flying me over to Oslo for a day full of fun and pampering with some other blog babes, before we'll go to the Lady Gaga concert and of course drink and dance the night away afterwards. What a fab Monday!!
Outside there's a storm and the weather is so sad and grey, so a little re-run of one of my favorite outfits will have to do today. I miss this sweater so much, why on earth did I sell it?! Now the school books are calling my name, have a fab day guys♥

I love to wear navy blue and red together, both look so chic! So as soon as I decided to wear this cute dress from Sly Wear I knew I had to add some red on lips and shoes. Also added the polka dots blazer, one of my favourite prints ever! Also wearing the rounded bag from Amaro and that’s it! Hope you like it!

JUST LIKE I though: I got sick! Straight after my River Island event I came down with a cold. Buhu! But still went out to dinner with my boyfriend yesterday at Brasserie le Rouge.. bad! On the sofa now and can barely move today. Any way, wanted to tell you how much I love my new jeans and this sweater with cut out details. They look great paired together! And these jeans fit me perfectly since there from Asos petit collection.

And I love this furry little cutie by little liffner.

Guys I have a confession to make - I wear Abercrombie & Fitch! I KNOW! I SAID IT! Judge me, because I judge myself with knowing that! I was that teen who LOVED anything that said, "A&F" on it in high school. Give me a break that was my generation. Although, I do look back now 1. Maybe embarrassed AND 2. Wishing I had the will to RESIST the trend, but I didn't. I am not a crazy A&F fan like I used to be but I do still enjoy some of their things. AND FRIENDS THE SMELLLLL!!!! You know what I'm talking about it! It's amazing! There is NOTHING comparable! Let's not kid ourselves. Now, with Abercrombie being under the heat lately for many things I think they got a well deserved smack in the face. They desperately NEEDED to change up their game! I mean, no one, I repeat NO ONE is wearing pooka shells & popped polo collars anymore - but if they are, someone please do some community service & take them under you wing. Back to A&F "upping" their game. Have you noticed that they have a new style now? If not take a gander at their website! They have added BLACK to their store, which they never used to carry. It was actually against their rules! They have all new styles I would say a mix of Urban Outfitters + Free People! That's a pretty good combo if you ask me. So let's all stop judging little A&F and give them some credit for changing over a new leaf! It takes a lot for a company to revamp themselves & realize they need a change so solute to you!

Last Sunday was going to be a really calm day until I knew I had an interview in the city center. After answering very interesting questions for Guipúzcoa de Moda (I will share it on my social media channels), I decided to have lunch with my sis near the Royal Palace.

It was a nice day and we had so much fun together! I wore my new tartan skirt fromBuylevard and I matched it with this burgundy sweater (love this color when it’s cold!) and my grey Isabel Marant boots. Thanks a lot for your comments.

// High-level of materialistic happiness! ♥ Can you guess what I bought?
Good morning, Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Lately, I spent quite a bit of time talking about my Fall essentials, so forgive me if I keep repeating myself, but I would like to take this opportunity to add one more essential to my already extensive list of mandatory Fall items:)

When it comes to Fall wardrobe, a great pair of leather pants is pretty high on my must-have list! Aside from being incredibly versatile, dress them up with a blazer and a pair of heels or down with a slouchy sweater and studded boots, leather pants add texture, edge and polish to pretty much any outfit. Having said that, not all leather pants are created equal and in all honesty it took me quite a while to find this elusive perfect pair.

They’re comfortable, they’re stylish and they remind me of a sophisticated parisian style that I’m trying to bring into my wardrobe. There’s some sort of cushion inside these boots from Piperlime that makes them feel like I’m wearing running shoes – they’re so comfortable!

If you follow me on Instagram, you are probably well aware of my beanie-obsession. Its out of control... I want a beanie in every color! Another obsession as of Friday afternoon are these gorgeous, OTK boots from Sole Society! They are the softest leather I have ever felt, I wore them every day over the weekend.

Over the weekend, the weather here in Arkansas got super cold & I am loving every minute of it. Sipping on a hot cup of coffee & taking in the refreshing cold air is by far one of the most peaceful pastimes for me. The only thing missing this weekend was my Johnny boy - I am hoping I will get to see him tonight or tomorrow (depending on the road conditions.) I've been wearing this eternity band byBerricle with John's birthstone because I am missing him so badly... does it get any cheesier? :)
When I was in Columbus with John's family during Thanksgiving, I grabbed this sweater at Nordstrom and I didn't realize just how much I would love it. Wait - first - it is called a 'sweater dress'.. ya, IDK about that! Anyway, it makes for the perfect long sweater & is very flattering! Just perfect for the winter months with the fair isle print + cozy cable knit.

Did you all have a good weekend?! John had the weekend off which is so unusual so we started packing. Let me just say - that is something I don't miss doing! I will be happy to finish this move - and stay settled for a couple of years.

I love to mix prints and this striped blazer from Gap is just a key piece for many outfits.

I’m wearing a ethnic printed dress from Lace & Whiskey. Both prints are in black & white in a small size, so they look nice together. I’m also wearing a striped shoes from Esdra and mirrored sunglasses from Zerov.

Saturday with a look du jour with a pop of colour wearing this gorgeous Displicent playsuit with lace detail. Also wearing a striped blazer from Gap to add some neutral piece. Black shoes from Dafiti and necklace from Natives Republic.
